The project begins 1.38 of a mile easterly of Bridge Street and extending easterly 1.95 miles. This project matches onto another active construction project .Full reconstruction to include clearing, utility pole relocation, rock excavation, drainage improvements, new subbase, new pavement, four precast concrete box culverts and other incidentals Traffic will be reduced to alternating one lane with the use of traffic signals from early/mid July through the end of August in the area of Bog Brook. The contractor will be removing the existing bridge and installing a precast concrete box culvert at Bog Brook .

Comment: At Exit 52 in Falmouth on the Falmouth Spur east and westbound permanent lane closures are in place at the Blackstrap and Maine Central Railroad Bridges for for bridge rehabilitation. The ongoing work is scheduled to be completed early in 2011. 35 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
